Overview

The tour of Wonderlands of Iran offers you a mind-blowing experience in Iran that you will probably remember for a lifetime. You will feel the Iranian literature, experience Iranian culture, live like locals in nomadic villages and many more.

In this 12-day-tour we will be visiting major cities of Iran along with its incredible monuments, historical places and the tomb of the Iran great men. We will also be visiting Iranian gardens with their mind-blowing architecture and water supply system.

This tour includes not only visiting locals but also spending a whole day with nomads, far away from the city! Living with nomads in their tent and eating their local foods can make a special experience and memorable moments for you. It will take you away from technological life and make an atmosphere where you can relax and see how life goes without modernity. And what’s more, is that you can see a handmade museum decorated with their own furniture. You will also get the chance to discover untapped landscapes.

Additionally, we will be visiting Iranian mosques with their colorful tiles, while learning about the mysterious stories behind them. Also, we will be talking to locals, having their traditional foods, learning about their daily life and many more.

Itinerary

Day 1: Shiraz
Day 1: Shiraz

Arrive at any time in Dastgheyb international airport, our representative will meet and greet you; then, you will be transferred to the hotel to rest.

Day 2: Shiraz
Day 2: Shiraz

In Shiraz, we'll start by visiting Narenjestan garden (sour orange garden) and then Zinat-ol-Molk house. Pink mosque or Nasir Almolk mosque which is known for colorful tiles and windows is our next destination. In the afternoon, we will visit the Saadi tomb, one of the greatest poets whose two books are Gulestan and Bustan. Our last sites is Afif Abad garden, a garden in which old arms and weapons are held.

Day 3: Shiraz

Vakil Complex and Karim Khan Citadel, the residence of the Karim Khan Zand and his family, are our first destinations. Next, we will visit one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, known as Eram Garden. Later, we will visit the tomb of the Iranian mysterious poet, Hafez.

Day 4: Shiraz-Yazd

Today is a road trip tour. On the road to Yazd, we will visit Persepolis, Naqsh-e Rostam, Naqsh-e Rajab, and Pasargad, the relics of the Iran great empire. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Yazd and visit one of the important squares known as Amir Chakhmagh.

Day 5: Yazd-Isfahan

Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Yazd as we visit the Tower of Silence, Jameh mosque, and walk through old alleys of Yazd. After lunch, we will visit Dolat Abad garden, a very good symbol of Iranian garden registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List. And later, we will hit the road Isfahan.

Day 6: Isfahan

We'll start by visiting Naghsh-e Jahan Square, the second-largest square in the world. In this square, we’ll visit Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Qeisarieh Bazaar and Jameh Mosque, great monuments from Safavid dynasty. In the afternoon, we are going to one of the most famous museums among tourists called the Music Museum, and then, two well-known bridges, Khaju and Sios-e Pol.

Day 7: Nomadic Life

Today is the day of challenges and differences. Our destination today is relatively unknown to most people. It is the day of seeing and living a nomadic life. We will be visiting Khouye village, and live a day with them. We'll stay the night in their tent, under the starry sky.

Day 8: Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari-Isfahan

After having a local breakfast, we’ll have this chance to visit another nomadic village known as a Sar Agha Seyed, which is famous for its houses. At the end of the day, we will come back to Isfahan.

Day 9: Isfahan-Kashan
Day 9: Isfahan-Kashan

Keep calm and start the day with two other amazing sites in Isfahan; Jame Atigh Mosque and Chehel Sotoon Palace. After visiting these two historical places, we'll go to see Vank Cathedral. After lunch, we are going to Kashan to learn about two mysterious traditional houses, known as a Borojerdi and Tabataei. We will stay the night in a traditional hotel in Kashan.

Day 10: Kashan-Tehran

After visiting Fin Complex in Kashan we will go to Tehran, the capital city of Iran. In Tehran, first, we'll be visiting Tabiat Bridge, then, we’re going to visit Tajrish Bazaar and in the evening, we will be experiencing Tehrani nightlife in Darband.

Day 11 : Tehran

This morning we head to one of the important palaces from the Pahlavi dynasty, called Golestan palace. After that, we'll visit one of the first Iranian museums, the Museum of Ancient Iran.
If you are a fan of the traditional bazaars then it’s time for you. We will go to Grand Bazaar of Tehran and we will finish our tour by visiting Abgineh museum.

Day 12: Imam Khomeini International Airport

It’s time to say Goodbye! We will be dropping you off at the Imam Khomeini International Airport.
