Aryobarzan hotel is one of the four-star hotels in the city of Shiraz, Iran. The hotel was built in the year 2000, in downtown Shiraz. Later on, it was renovated in 2016. The hotel’s name is inspired by one of the brave soldiers during the Achaemenid period in ancient Persia. General Aryobarzanes and his soldiers bravely withstood the attacks of Alexander the Great. However, after 30 days of nonstop combat, they lost their lives in 330 BC.
Aryobarzan hotel’s location in the center of Shiraz makes it easy for guests to find their way around the city. Guests can walk to the vakil complex (consisting of the Vakil Bazaar, Vakil Batthouse, and Vakil Mosque), located at a distance of 1.2 kilometers from the hotel. Other landmarks in the same neighborhood include: Khan Historical School, Nasir-al Mulk Mosque, Narenjestan Qavam museum and garden. Meanwhile, guests can use a taxi to visit Eram Garde, Tomb of Hafez and Tomb of Sadi (two of the greatest Iranian poets).
The hotel has been built in 5 floors and an overall number of 50 rooms. It includes single, double and twin rooms, as well as apartment suites. In addition to the rooms, guests can also enjoy the hotel’s restaurant, which serves a variety of Iranian and international dishes. The hotel’s café provides a cozy environment to have a peaceful cup of coffee, eat delicious desserts and hang out. Another interesting part of the hotel is its sports club where visitors can play billiard, darts, or table football. In the meantime, the sports complex offers a variety of options for exercising and relaxing. These include: a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, massage room, and a gym.
