Karim Khan Hotel is a four-star accommodation in the city of Shiraz, Iran. Built in 2012, It is considered as one of the latest additions to the city’s hotels. Its architecture masterfully brings together the Iranian traditional as well as modern trends of design and arts. The hotel is named after the name of the ruler of Shiraz in 18th century, Karim Khan Zand. The wise ruler founded the Zand dynasty and ruled over the entire country from 1751 to 1779.
Karim Khan hotel’s location on Rudaki street makes it easy for travelers to visit the landmarks of Shiraz. Located at a distance of 1.2 kilometers from the hotel, Vakil Complex is one of the closest attractions. It consists of the Vakil Bathhouse, Vakil Bazaar, and Vakil Mosque. Near the complex, the Citadel of Karim Khan also attracts many visitors. Moroever, the world-famous pink mosque, Nasir al Mulk Mosque is located a little further away. Once here, guests can also visit Narenjestan Qavam Museum and Khan School. But the list of nearby landmarks does not end here. Visitors can also easily access Eram Garden, Tomb of Saadi, and Tomb of Hafez by taxi. Other landmarks such as Afif Abad Garden or Quran Gate are accessible only by car.
The hotel includes 63 rooms. One of its interesting features is the traditional Iranian teahouse. Here guests can have Iranian traditional drinks, different kinds of tea, ice-cream or Faloodeh (a kind of famous dessert from Shiraz). In addition, guests can also shop at the hotel’s souvenir shop.
